So my husband and I eloped last March, I'm 19 and he's 23. My parents are very controlling and manipulative, so I didn't want them involved in the wedding. I haven't had the best relationship with my parents since we eloped, and now I'm almost 10 weeks pregnant and so so excited. My husband and I are thrilled about baby, and his side of the family is so excited for us and are very supportive. I have been in some contact with my family but haven't seen them since beginning of March. I want to tell them I'm pregnant, but I'm nervous they won't be excited, which is fine but I don't want them to be negative about it. Any suggestions?
