Period

Okay so I got my period begnning of July and I was supposed to get my second one at the end of July. But I didn't now my <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">period calendar</a> has been saying I'm 8 days late now! Should I wait until August 13 to see if I get my next one or should I take a test now ???
