Tylenol PM?

Has anyone taken Tylenol pm while pregnant? My doctor told me Tylenol products are safe but I wanted to see if anyone else has taken it. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and having horrible back pain at night and not sleeping very much at all. Tylenol PM is a sleep aid that also has acetaminophen in it so I thought it would help.

I was told it was safe I've taken it before. With me having allergies when I break out into hives really bad it helps them from hurting and also helps me sleep lol. Some times I take Benadryl to sleep my DR said nothing else is safe when I asked again yesterday. Every doctor has their own beliefs and hypothesis though. Ill be 29 weeks tomorrow and baby is as healthy as can be

I have taken it but I didn't have any help with actually sleeping. It helped slightly with the pain but I'm not sure of it truly has much to help sleep. My doctor said that unisom is safe to take while pregnant. That has been my only saving grace as far as sleep goes.

I have taken it a few times over the course of my 24 weeks. Helps pain and sleep all in one shot. I only take one each time.

I was told it was safe and actually only took half the doaage (1 pill) which helped me relax enough to sleep and relieve my very very bad headache

I take Benadryl if I really need help sleeping, although I try not to. I believe Tylenol PM uses the same medicine to make it PM as Benadryl in which case it is definitely safe. Numerous doctors have told me it's safe. 😊

I'm told it's fine to take. I've not, but I've taken benadryl and Tylenol.

Tylenol is safe but Tylenol pm has Benadryl in it which is a category B drug. That means that there is no evidence of it harming a fetus, but it also says not to take Benadryl while pregnant without talking to your dr first.
