Fertility Tests and new information regarding spotting.
Ok so, we've both been tested.
My bloodwork all came back normal, as did my husband's semen analysis.
My AMH (egg count) is quite high for my age group. Normal for age 35 is 1.6 and mine was 3.93.
So, all good news but points to undetermined infertility.
Or....
I mention to my fertility dr that I have been spotting days before my period for the past 5-6 years. I've brought this up to my OBs receiving the explanation that it comes with age or stress or changes in hormones.
My fertility dr sees a small blip in my ultrasound and thinks it might be a polyp.
A polyp would explain the early spotting. It rubs the lining as it builds up before menstration creating the spotting.
A polyp also acts much like an IUD by not allowing an embryo to attach.
So, we are doing what I'm calling a 'Search and Destroy' procedure on Friday.
If there is a polyp it will be removed. Then we will try naturally for 3 cycles before doing Clomid and <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>.
If not a polyp we fast forward to the <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> and Clomid.
I seriously hope it is a polyp.
For those of you who spot and are having issues conceiving, this is something I had not been aware of previous to this new dr.
