Can they say no?

Question

I have 2 state boards timed exams to take with in before September 10th
( i didnt schedule it )
Would it be selfish if I ask my doctors if i can possibly get induced?
I just want to heal and get into a mother routine before i take an hour drive to take the exams....

I believe if you're around 38/39 weeks, and tell them the situation they will probably discuss inducing you. At your next appointment bring it up to your OB.

I'm currently 39 weeks and I'm supposed to take my state board exam on the 3 and 8th of this month, literally in the next few days hah. I told my doctor and still no sympathy. She said she couldn't do it before 39 weeks and wouldn't do it unless I was at least 3cm dilated, which I wasn't. So she said we would schedule an induction at my 40 week appointment if I make it there.

Can they say no?
