So I had my son 12 days ago, vaginally and with an epidural. I was really constipated after obviously and had the most painful BM about 5/6 days after birth. I also got hemorrhoids during labor so going poop was scary and painful. They have me on stool softners and something for constipation, but my gut hurts so bad, it feels like gas, but mostly when I sit down, it's like the pressure from sitting down shoots up through my body... Wondering if anyone else experienced this, how long it took to pass and if you contacted your doctor before your six week appt bc of it.  I might still be constipated, but it kind of worries me bc the pain is pretty intense.
