What are your experiences using a birth photographer versus having a friend take pictures? I am having a natural birth at a birthing center and want the day documented but also agonizing over the cost of a birth photographer...I have a friend who is an RN so she has been around births before and is willing to be a "fly on the wall" and take pictures for us but she is not a professional photographer....do you think that matters?
