When to go to the DR

I just found out I'm pregnant. The digital text says 2-3 weeks. When should I schedule a doctors appointment? Also, does that doctors appointment have to be at an gynecologist or can it be at a walk in clinic? What will they even do? Just take a blood test to conform? Sorry for so many questions this is my first pregnancy (aside from the eptoic I had in March)

I had to go get a blood test to confirm and then they let me make an appointment with the ob. By that time I think I was 8 or 9 weeks and they did an ultrasound and a urine and Pap test. And just kind of went over everything. Got to take home a picture of our peanut.

I saw my doc at 5-6 weeks and they did urine and blood tests to confirm and sent me on my way. I got my first ultrasound at my second appointment, which was at 8 weeks. 
It's best to see an OBGYN, but a regular doc should be able to do blood and urine tests if needed.

Mine didn't do it until like 6-8 weeks, if I remember correctly. Think it depends on Doctor...

It should be with an OBGYN. And they will do an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy, some lab tests, and do a pap smear.
