I need a period explanation

This month I started my period a week early ( also about 10 days after my other one) my period ended 3 days ago and now I see some type of spotting. First it was faint pink but now it's a real dark drown and clotty. Is this normal? Is my same period and never ended? Or is this a new one? Please help
