When to take a pregnancy test

I am new at TTC and I was wondering what's the earliest some of you have taken a test and it showed up positive? I am really wanting to test Saturday 5 days before my expected period.

My af was due 8/8 and i tested aug 1st and got mt bfp so test when asap! Baby dust to all

I think on some of the pregnancy tests you can test 5 days before your period. My af is due 8/10 and I'm going to test Saturday morning.
