Sex during period?

Hey everyone! I'm kinda new here, but I wanted some advice.

My boy wants to have sex with me while I am on my period. He has been asking me for a while now, but honestly it just makes me really shy, LOL.  I've never done it on my period. So I'm a little curious, because I might consider it next month, haha.

Has anyone had sex while on their period?  Any tips or advice? 
Is it messy? Does it smell?

The first time me and my fiancé ever had sex I was on my period and because the first month we were together I was on the depo so I was constantly bleeding the entire time but we still had sex, there's not difference and it's quite pleasurable if you ask me, yeah he might get some blood on there but get a tissue it will be fine. Having sex on your period also tends to help to reduce cramps and such! Hope this helps.

Take a shower before, lay down a black or red towel, relax and enjoy yourself!

My fiancé and I use to when we first started dating. We always layed a towel down because it is messy!
One time we got blood on the sheets and we were trying to wash it in the laundry room, well his dad walks in and immediately knows what's up... Talk about embarrassing!!! 😬
Yes it does smell a little but what sex doesn't? Lol
But we have decided that when I'm on the rag, it's blow job time,  make out sessions or anal (it's pretty amazing btw)
