Praying for a rainbow...

I was supposed to start 8/1. I ovulated on the 23rd of July however so I figured AF would be late if I didn't get pregnant. I took a FR digital and it said No :-(. Could it still be too early to test or should I just be depressed as I wait for AF to show up again?...
