I'm currently on the birth control implant. Ive been on it since October of 2014. Just this year I've been having problems with it. I never use to get my period but I get it all the time now and it's so irregular. Just now I've been on my period for almost a month now and it's really stressful because my boyfriend and I have been wanting to be really sexually active. Tmi, I'm sorry but it's gotten to the point where we just have sex on my period because we don't wanna wait till I'm off of it cause I feel like it's never gunna go away. But my problem is I'm getting it removed August 18th and I'm scared to go on any other birth control because I don't wanna gain weight and I'm scared of just stopping birth control all together because of weight gain. I was on the depo shot before the implant and it gave me no problems whatsoever but I'm scared to go back to the depo because I've heard switching causes massive weight gain even if you eat less than you normally do. Does anyone know what I should do? I'm also allergic to latex so condoms isn't really my option. My boyfriend and I have talked about wanting kids in the near future but were only 20 and it's too soon so I need a birth control. HELP ME 😔
