What underwear to wear after delivery?

Any advice for a FTM? I'm wondering what everyone is gonna wear after delivery to compensate for all the heavy bleeding? Just heavy flow pads with comfy underwear? Or what? I'm seriously considering on buying adult diapers for the first few days because I don't want to have to change a pad every hour after I just gave birth.

I wish I used the woman's silhouette depends diapers for my first born after I gave birth. Now I will be prepared because I had to change pads every hour it was horrifying. Lol

I buy disposable knickers and wear them with maternity pads for the first couple of days so that I didn't ruin my regular underwear

I take a bunch home from the hospital and then use regular pads (Stayfree overnight) after that.

I got some silloette adult diapers and some overnight pads. With my first the week after birth i bled and mesh undies cant hold a pad for shit. I used normal undies and i hated it.

I HATED the mesh undies from the hospital, I just used my overnight pads, 2 at a time like all the way across cotton granny panties

Ask for lots of extra adult diapers from the hospital. I used them until I ran out of them and then I just used those overnight pads, and changed them when needed. I wore granny panties though so I wouldn't mess up my favorite underwear.

I'm a FTM too, and I've heard so many different opinions. I decided to buy a pack of Depend Silhouettes and I bought some granny  panties with a pack of overnight pads. I wanted to have both options incase I didn't like one.

It really just depends on how your postpartum bleeding is. My first was awful and I had lots of extra mesh panties and pads from the hospital, my 3rd I just bought some of my normal size Hanes briefs and used pads with wings. I bought underwear I didn't care if I ended up throwing out.

I love the mesh undies from the hospital. Felt like I was wearing nothing. I want to try some adult diapers and use ice packs with them. I've heard good things about that.
