When are you going to have your baby shower??

I know we are all really early but my husband is military and we will be moving and away from all of our families. When would be a good month to have it in??

I would wait as long as possible. Maybe just a week or so before you move. But remember to think about having to move with all of your new stuff. For the bigger items perhaps you could request that everyone sends the packages to your new address instead. Most larger stores will happily do this if items are ordered online.

I do like earlier showers so you know what you will need and can bargain shop. But if you are moving, I'd do a gift card shower. Packing is such a pain! And then you can pick out exactly what you want once you are settled into your new place

We are in the same situation, I'm going home to tell my family, and having a baby shower in november, but going to only ask for money or giftcards so we don't have to travel back home with a bunch of stuff

We are military and moving to hawaii at only 16 weeks pregnant! It's far to early to have a shower...any one have any ideas? We probably won't see any family or friends again until the baby comes and hopefully they get to visit!

I live abroad and am visiting home for thanksgiving, so mine will be then (and maybe a small one here closer to my due date? I don't have a ton of close friends here and am unsure of Australian traditions, so I'm not expecting one). So anyways, I'll only be 5 months at mine, super early! But that's okay! You have to do it the way it works for you, so that you can celebrate with the people who love you 💛
