I've never done it, but I think as long as you regularly check that you have no STDs or other infections, don't use your home address (or give out any other personal info), and make sure it's legal then it's really up to you!

That's unsanitary. I personally believe that the only clothing items you shouldn't buy second hand are underwear & bathers.
