Does my boyfriend hate me?

My boyfriend (both in our 20s) and I were perfect for the first few months. He called me beautiful every day, surprised me with little gifts, never fought, was always a gentleman. Lately though, all that has kind of stopped. He never compliments me, and all our time spent together has been Netflix and smoking. We bicker more. 
I asked him about the compliments the other day and he said he hadn't noticed they'd stopped and it's probably just because he we've been spending lots of time together. I still felt nervous about it a few days later so I told him, and he got really mad and said we already talked about it and he's done talking about it with me.
I just feel like he doesn't like me at all anymore. He seemed so supportive and in love at first and now I don't know. This is my first real relationship so maybe it's normal and I'm just paranoid. What do you guys think?

I don't think he hates you, I just the the honeymoon phase is over. You know, when people first get together they're all googly eyed at each other and giggling and have sex more than rabbits. It lasts different amounts of time for different people and kinda comes in waves. If you're seeing each other all the time or live together it's gonna get harder for him to just think of different things to compliment you on, especially when he's already done it. There are other things to worry about besides that. If you want compliments and you miss how it was in the beginning you could try spending less time together or complimenting him more but tbh I think you're just overthinking it. He can show you he loves you without constantly talking about your hair or clothes or whatever.

unfortunately, the puppy love stage of a relationship can only last so long, and it seems like you're out of it. this doesn't mean he doesn't love you or find you attractive, just that you guys are becoming increasingly comfortable with eachother, therefore he is most likely assuming that you already know what he thinks of you and feel confident in that.

It's time to walk away! The compliments thing is a sign of a lack of effort. I get the honeymoon phase being over but what's not ok is that when you bring up a concern/something you wanna talk about in your relationship he dismisses it and gets hostile. He should be wanting to hear you out and find a way to address your concern and work on your relationship together.

Tell him how you feel about how he is treating you and why you're feeling this way. Just talk to him. If he get mad or you're upset then take a small break until you or him finally cool down then talk about it again.

I've been with my fiancé for over 4 years now. In the beginning he would compliment me a lot, but once we were together ALL the time, it stopped. Which I understand because you can only say something so much with nothing has changed. Lol he still loves me the same. We just got engaged and we have a son.
