I started my period Wednesday July 27 so I started my first bc pill that day... It told me that if I start my first pill the first day of my period I was protected immidiatly. So when my period stopped on Sunday I had sex and let my so finish in me... It was our first time having sex where he finished inside of me. When i sat up all of his stuff came out... But so did a lot of blood, which I just thought "oh maybe my period wasn't all the way done with" so I waited until the next day to see if I would stop bleeding... And now it been over 6 days since we've had sex and I'm still bleeding... Making my normal 5 day period into an ongoing 10 day one... My question is, was it the pill that is messing up my cycle so bad or was it my so finishing inside of me? And if it is the pill when can I expect my period to stop? If the pill is going to mess up my cycle like this is it a good idea to seek out a different typ of birth control?
