Is this even normal?

So I had been taking the pill for about 3 months but I decided to stop taking it- always forgetting and I didn't see the point. My boyfriend and I always use a condom so I wasn't worried about getting pregnant. I got off the pill about a month ago and my I've gotten my period every 2 weeks since I stopped taking it. My period was normal before the pill so what's the deal and how can I regulate my period again?
