Helpful to all testing!!
Hey ladies!! I know testing can be super stressful so I want to tell you my story because it will ease a lot of your stress. I was 16 days late and had taken a ton of test. One night just for the heck of it I took a test around 9 pm. Didn't see anything, but I'm bad about looking after the timeframe. So about 15 mins goes past and I looked again when I saw a faint line (pic below) I was so excited and asked my husband if he saw it too. He said he did and so did my best friend. I sat at my table watching the test when I noticed it was still getting darker in color after the timeframe. At 10 pm I went to ER for blood work due to sharp craps and fear of another miscarriage. As I waited to see the Dr my test became pretty dark but the test at the ER was negative and my blood work was only 35 and the Dr told me not to hold out hope because she didn't see the baby in the vaginal ultrasound and my levels were low to be as far as we thought based on my last period. I was worried and upset. Three days later I tested again and got a strong positive and called my obgyn to get in asap because I was worried about the sharp cramps on my left side that wouldn't stop. My Dr couldn't see the baby but said my levels were really high and ordered a vaginal ultrasound for the next week. My ultrasound showed I was 3 weeks behind what my last period said and that I got pregnant 3 days after my period was due. My cramps was from the baby implanting because I was truly only 3 weeks and 4 days when I thought I was 6 weeks. I am now happily 10 weeks and 3 days and my little snowflake is doing great. My test was the 88 cent test from Walmart and one from Dollar tree (pics below), if you look at your test after the timeframe it has to be a thick line not thin because that is evap. Don't give up hope ladies!! Keep having sex from a week before your ovulate until the day you get your period. My prayers are with you all and I hope my story will help to keep you calm as you wait for your pink lines!
