How and when can I start sleep routine with baby?

He's only 4 days old but I go back to work in 6 weeks. I'm stressing already

My little lady is 6 wks today and we have a schedule-sort of. About 4:30-5 she wakes from a nap, sometimes it's been only 15 minutes. Plays with Dad because he's home then. Eats 3 oz. sort of dozes off around 6. By 7:30 we have a bath and then play and eat again. Sometimes takes a short nap and around 9:00. we feed her one more time, usually just an ounce to top her off, change her and swaddle her for bed. Sleeps from 9-2am, feed 3 oz, change and back to bed. Sleeps till 5 or 6. I'm a high school teacher and go back next week so hopefully this schedule works for us then. 
We found she cluster feeds in the evening and we give her what she wants. I feel like the full er she is the better she sleeps. 
just started feeding her 3 oz this week it was only 2 before and during the day it's every 3-4 hours which is more normal.

I always started around three months, but you can dim the lights around 6 or 7 at night , do a bath or lotion and maybe a bottle and they will get it in no time!

When my son was 2 weeks his dad went back to work. I wasn't trying to force a routine on him all I wanted was for him to realize it was nighttime and therefore it meant sleep. Once daddy went back to bed I would turn the lights out and make a bottle and once I fed him and changed him I would hold him until he fell into a deep sleep. At first some nights it would be an hour or more but after a few weeks he would be sleeping peacefully in a matter of minutes. As time went on he put himself on a schedule and was sleeping through the night at 11 weeks. By 5 months he was sleeping 6:30pm to 6:00am and now even at 11 months he still keeps the same schedule plus 2-3 naps.

I was told you can't really start before 3 months. I'm curious to see what others think.
