Are you trying to see if you are ovulating? You have to keep testing until the test line is darker or as dark as the control line for that to be positive. Two times a day will catch it once you get close to when you think you ovulate and when you get a positive it means you will be ovulating in 24-36 hours so that's when you bd. You wouldn't have a positive pregnancy test if you are about to ovulate and opks don't show pregnancy.

Need a little more info- 
When is AF due? Because if you're ovulating then that's why the pregnancy test was neg. 
For an ovulation test the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. And if the pic you posted is an ovulation test, then it's neg for Lh surge.
