Is it safe to use Feminine wash for your vagina?

I know the vagina cleans it's self. I now just use water for my vagina and that's it, but I'm still not sure if it's safe to use feminine wash for ph balance and odor for the vagina. Is there any tips to prevent odor? is it safe?
