I might have gotten the wrong message from this post(seen on FB) && she makes slot of them but from this one && others I gotten that she feel like since she's a mother the father && girlfriend should respect her just because of that!!

If a baby mama is not going to respect her ex's choice of girlfriend and talk mess about her, why would she then expect respect from the girlfriend and the ex stick up for her? You get what you put out. You're a raging bitch who's bitter your ex found someone else and you'll get bad attitudes and disrespect coming your way. You be a sensible adult and realize that it isn't about you, her, or the ex and the relationship should be functional for the child involved and everyone gets along fine with no hitches.

It's goes both ways. It can't be 1 or the other. If the babies mother is disrespectful, why do I need to show her any respect?  It's one of those things baby mother needs to understand the only contact with him is only about the child and girlfriend needs to not feel  threaten when baby mother is around.

I've been on both sides of this debate. My SO's BM was all yelling about being respected but no one disrespected her until she started the whole mess. She was pissed about us being together and chose to start stuff then when you say something about her it's a problem. I'd go out of my way to avoid her and not say anything to her but that wasn't good enough either. Then it turned into "she's disrespectful for ignoring me". Just dumb shit.

I've got a 25 year old son that has a daughter with a woman, I'll call her Amy. He then got with a girl and is now living with her. His gf is the type to be the one starting the shit. She went so far as to make fake fb profiles just to catfished Amy. This gf is a shit starter. It upset me because we get this child every other week. Since she was a week old she's been at my house every other week.  I don't want that messed up by some loud mouthed gf.

Anyway both people need to be acting like grown ups. If your ex has moved on, then let him and don't start shit. If you're the new gf, don't start shit; you've already got the man you want, so don't be insecure thinking he might want his ex back and then start a bunch of drama.

Everyone needs to be respectful but not everyone is. My SO's ex was very disrespectful to my SO after they split and he let it get to him and was disrespectful back to her. Her more so than him because she would post on social media all this bs to make him look bad and he has never done so. After some time talking to him i finally got him to see that she just likes to talk to make problems and get him wound up. Now when she does it he stays calm and is respectful to her. Now when she found out about me after 3 years of being together with my SO she started going after me talking shit about me to him and posting things on social media that i was controlling him and that i was against him being responsible for his child. I have never not even once posted anything on social media about her. I know she just wants to make herself seem better and she doesnt know me so her words really mean nothing. I have never been disrespectful to her but she continues in ways to be to me. I have always been cordial with her for the sake of my step daughter. Being human though i do have personal feelings about how she is and treats us at times so i do talk about it because it frustrates me but nothing is ever said infront of the child and only to people in my inner circle. I dont go around talking shit about her i talk about the stuff she says and does to me and my SO that gets to me. There is a difference in just talking shit and talking about facts.

It goes both ways but my brothers won't let their girlfriends disrespect their child's mother if there is any issue it goes threw them not to each other directly
