Is he ashamed of me?

This guy I have known for about a year has never took me on a real date. He comes over super late once or twice a week. I have never met any of his friends. He never comments back to me when I comment on his social media posting. I'm starting to think he's embarrassed by me. I don't know what to do with myself?
