Can crying excessively hurt baby?

Im 16w5d and had a huge fight with my husband. He basically kept something really important from me, and I'm so disappointed and feeling betrayed. Needless to say I cried a hell of a lot, struggled to breathe for a while. Now I'm worried about how this may have affected baby, am cramping now, no spotting.

My mother basically disowned when I was 25 weeks pregnant over a stupid lie my sister told. My husband was deployed. I cried CONSTANTLY. Literally, I went to bed crying, I woke up crying, I cried throughout the day, I screamed and slammed things and cried some more for nearly a week. My baby is 3 months old now and a very healthy happy little boy. Just try to find a way to calm yourself a little because stress is what's causing your cramping most likely. It will pass, just stay hydrated (easy to forget when you're upset) and try to relax as much as possible.

I don't think crying itself can, but stress is bad for baby. It's probably better that you cry if you feel you want or need to, as it does relieve some of the stress.

Crying won't hurt the baby. But make sure to keep drinking water to stay hydrated. Just don't stress over it. ( I know easier said then done.)
