My daughter is 11 w 5 d old. She was 6 w 1 d early. She is diagnosed with mild reflux. However she has had a couple incidents where she gets choked and doesn't breathe for a few seconds. It's so scary but the doctor says that can be normal with a reflux baby. She is also pretty uncomfortable a lot of the time. Since they upped her medicine (Prilosec) her nightly fits seem to have lessened. She is on gentle ease because she also has horrible gas. I've tried almost everything to help her because she seems to be in pain a lot of the time. My biggest concern is the choking though! Any advice? Or do you guys think it may just be a premature digestive system issue that she will outgrow? Ped doesn't seem concerned.
