Is being thirsty a pregnancy symptom?

Diabetes runs in my family. Literally every aunt and uncle and gma and gpa have it as well as my dad so I'm ALWAYS looking for signs of the start of it. I've been SUPER thirsty to where I only drink water bc I'm constantly thirsty and it's the only thing that won't make me more thirsty. But I also know this is a diabetes symptom but it's only been the past 2 weeks? Any clarity on this?
