When should/can I pump?

When should I pump?? Some say want a month or atlesst 2 weeks. He's 6 days old today my milk just came in on day 5. How often should I be pumping if I need to save milk for when I go back to work in 5 weeks and I want him to start haveing at least 1 bottle per night.

Answer

Every time baby nurses you should pump. It will increase your milk so you don't dry up when you go back to work.
