Breastfeeding and solids
So my LO is 6 months old just had her appointment yesterday and the doctor was surprised to hear I'm breastfeeding and then surprised again that I'm not supplementing any with formula. Anyone else experience this with their pediatrician...? I thought it was very strange.
Also, I asked her about how to go about solids and breastfeeding. I told her I'm breastfeeding first and I offer solids after. She told me that I need to be cutting back on breastfeeding and giving more solids.
I formula fed with my first daughter and that was 5 years ago so this whole breastfeeding thing is all new to me. Any advice or breastfeeding and solid feeding? I felt like what the pediatrician told me would really hurt me supply.
