Camping trip

Hi my friends.. This doesn't have anything to do with love but I could use some advice... My ex boyfriend (but we're trying to work things out) and his friends and their girlfriends wanna go on a one night, two day camping trip this weekend. We start college next week and we wanted to do one last thing before we left. We're all 18 & 19 and I very mature. The thing is I just don't really know the other people going besides one of my ex boyfriends guy friend. Anyway I wanna ask my parents if I can go but I feel like they'll automatically say no to a camping trip in general. How do I convince them to let me go? I believe I am very mature and know what I should and shouldn't be doing without a parents. I just feel like they won't believe me. I'll also have to lie about going with my ex boyfriend cuz they would never let me do something like that so I would just say I'm going with friends. I know some people might think this is a bad idea but I truly think everything will be fine and super fun! Also since we're all 18 we know how to handle ourselves. Someone please give me advice on what to do... I really wanna go
