boyfriend is pissing me off? 🙄

so recently, my boyfriend has been bothering me. i love him dearly but I'm pretty sure he's been lying to me about some (v small) things (not cheating or anything to do with girls) and he hasn't been talking to me all that much, because he's been "busy" (aka couldn't be bothered). would it be bad to just take a break for a day or two and turn my message notifications off and not reply to him if he does happen to text me? sometimes he takes a day to respond to my texts so I wouldn't feel that bad.. or is that petty? i just don't want to stress about it anymore
