High blood pressure

The last 3 weeks or so my blood pressure has been much higher than normal.  Upper 130s/70s.  But this last week it's now over 140 and my doctor is concerned.  I'm 36 weeks.  Doc took me off work the rest of the week and has me coming in twice a week for monitoring.  I see him again on Monday to be reevaluated.  I don't have any other symptoms of preeclampsia and my urine has never had protein in it.  Anyone experience this before?  Will they induce me if it doesn't go down?  How dangerous is high BP if I don't have any other preeclampsia symptoms?  Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!!
