Normal?

I went to my doctors appt last week I was 31 weeks pregnant. Since 4 weeks ago baby is been measuring 1 week bigger. Wheb i went last week she told me that at around 36 weeks she is going to send me to do an ultrasound to see how much the baby weights.  Is this normal? My sister in law never got that ultrasound. Is it because baby is measuring bigger?

Ive been measuring 1-2 weeks ahead since 12 weeks. I go Monday for a growth ultrasound at 30 weeks. Hes a big boy already.

Those ultrasounds are very often wrong, very often. And what may seem like a big baby to some doctors, may seem average to others.

Because baby might be big yes.  Coworker is getting one as they think she could end up trying to deliver a ten pounder
