Sex to ripen cervix?

Have any of you ladies has sex/left the semen on the cervix to help ripen it?? If so when did you start?

Yep! With four kids. Started trying at 38 weeks. Worked each time. Sex all day, walking, and Chinese food

Worked with my first! Semen has prostaglandins in it which can ripen the cervix for child birth.

Each child I have had my husband and I do this. Lol Sex got me into labor with my first. 👍🏽😊 So I say have sex as much as possible. My second birth was so easy I thought I was invincible or something. 😂 Honestly women complain about all their aches and pains, I say, have sex and it all goes away and when it comes back tell hubby you need a message and sex. Thats him doing his part. 😉 So I totally think sex and all of that good stuff totally help with labor.
