Breast pump without rechargeable battery- is it a big deal?

I got the list of pumps covered by my insurance, the one I'm most interested in is the Spectra S2. The only drawback seems to be that it doesn't have a built in battery- so it always has to be plugged in to use it. I could get the S1 instead, which does have a rechargeable battery, but i would have to pay $100 out of pocket for it. I would rather get the free one because we still have so much other stuff to buy (not having a baby shower), but will I be kicking myself later if I get one that has to be plugged in to use? I assume I'll mostly be using it at work and home where plugging in won't be an issue, but I'm a first time mom so what do I know, right? If you had a pump that wasn't rechargeable, did you find it to be super inconvenient, or no big deal?
