Is this person attempting to scam me? Is it possiable to scam someone through pay pal?? It just seems sketchy to me. But I'm not sure.

Yes it's a scam! I was selling my phone on Craigslist the other day and 7 people tried this crap and their stories were similar. These scammers will always offer way more than what you're asking and they never try to negotiate prices. Some guy wanted to buy my fiancés and my phones which was gonna be $550 all together. He didn't try to talk me down on the prices not once. He then sends us a check for $1,800 so we could "ship them to his cousin" the check was FAKE. I called him out on it and he never responded after that. Don't fall for this kind of stuff. These people have nothing better to do than sit around and try to scam people. It's absurd.

It's a scam. They always want it shipped and want to pay over the Internet. I'm surprised they didn't say someone died or ship it to Africa. I've seen everything.

Had the same thing happen to me. I gave them my phone number because there app wasn’t working and tried to scam me through paypal and now I won’t stop getting scam likely calls. Please be careful.

Are you selling a car? I had some guy say he was in Austin TX and would pay for a company  to pick up the car. Could only talk by text. Real fishy.
