Went in for my 38 week appointment today to hear that my blood pressure has been rising every appointment, slowly but surely. For 3 weeks its tested high, but no protein in my urine. Sooo Ive been diagnosed with gestational hypertension and they are inducing me in a week. I have mixed emotions about this, Im excited because I finally get to meet my baby boy and not be painfully pregnant anymore but Im also bummed out because I really didnt want to be induced. I went into labor naturally with my first and was hoping same with this one but if its better for his and my safety I guess Ill suck it up. Any previous induction experiences?
