Pushchairs and Car seats?!

Question

Any advice or recommendations on choosing a pushchair or car seat? Started lookin and it's a complete mind field and I'm now feeling completely clueless. We don't have loads of money to spend on one (some are pushing £1000?!) but preferably would like one that you can use from new born to toddler and save buying another pushchair at a later date. Help please!!

I was In between silver cross and bugaboo but got a bugaboo as a lot of friends with silver cross complained and either sold or took theirs back

I've tried a few and silver cross/wayfarer are the best. They're really easy to use, very compact and can be used from birth up to 25kg. They also come with adopters for silver cross car seats so you don.'the have to wake your baby when you leave the car. Whatever you do but an isofix car seat. Much safer apparently.
