How far were you when you started to tell people other than immediate family??

Just for fun!!! I'm excited to see when everyone announced they're pregnancy. Is there really a right or wrong time to do it??

We announced to our family at 10 weeks. We didn't tell anyone else though. When I hit 12 weeks I thought we were good. There is no right time to tell people. We said goodbye to our baby at 17 weeks. Tell whomever you like wherever you like, there is no right or "safe" time. Let everyone celebrate with you when you are happy and most likely everything will go great. If it doesn't it's nice to have the story of those you love.

We told immediate family right away. We really wanted our families support and for them to experience all the ups and downs of pregnancy with us, especially since it's the first grandchild on both sides. My husband is horrible at keeping a secret so he's told several of our friends. We also ended up having to tell a bunch of extended family because we went to a weekend long family reunion and I wasn't drinking and my morning sickness was horrible. We'll announce on social media after our next doctors appointment. I'll be 13 weeks.

My husband announced it on Facebook when I was only 6 weeks! He was really excited lol. Didn't even tell me he was doing it 😂 I was sat with my 2 kids watching films and it came up that he had tagged me in a post. So I clicked on it and there it was!!

I didn't announce publicly too early, but I did tell close friends and whoever it was relevant to tell whenever I felt like it. For instance, when I felt too sick to do something I should have been able to do, sometimes I told so that it would make sense

I'm currently 13w+1 and I've only told 3 people (bc I felt like I had to in order to explain some issues).  We have 3 other children and have not told them.  I have had 2 miscarriages in the past year so I wanted to wait to tell them in case we lost this one as well.  We are going on a 3 hour road trip tomorrow and plan to tell them before we leave.  Then we can start telling everyone else.  None of our families know yet.

My side of the family knows. My youngest knows. 2 older kids have no clue and my husband is afraid to tell his parents. 21 weeks Sunday 😫
