Is washing your baby's clothes an absolute must?

For babies, yes. Us adults can wear clothes fresh off the rack from the store regardless of what roach ridden warehouse the clothing has been residing in at some point in the manufacturing process. Not so for babies fresh from the womb.

Yes do it please, I used to work for a retail store and all departments including baby dept  when is the time for an inventory or just to re-organize some clothes are on the floor, all kind of people touch the clothes including customers, workers and believe they dont wash their hands.... plus wharehouse is dirty, the boxes where the clothes came in OMG and a lot more...so I reccomend you to wash it ;)

I'd say yes, if for no other reason than you don't know if someone's sneezed on it or touched it with germ infested hands. But then, I'm a slight germaphobe so I could just be overreacting a bit lol

Wash the clothes. Take them all to a laundry mat. Fill the machine and you'll be done in an hour and a half.

I'd actually say HELL YES. You don't want to take the chance. If you look on the tag of baby clothes, even the boppy pillow cover and pacifiers say "wash before use". Anything coming in contact with baby should be washed. Crib sheets, blankets, onesies, even your robe that you plan on wearing after baby needs to be washed.

I would just because of transfer and how long they are sitting in the store ect there might be dusts ect I live in an area with high lead so washing them is a must for me
