Did you get an epidural when getting induced?

Was it because of the pain or medical reasons or just preference choice? Curious to know because i might be getting induced and dont know what to expect FTM.

Yep. Cuz the contractions hurt like hell and I was in tears

I chose to get an epidural with my first because the contractions were really bad.  I had to get one with my second because i wasn't dialating.  My body was to tense from the contractions. It worked though.  I went from a 2.5 to a 5 in three hours. Then my water broke.  20 minutes later my son was born!
