I had my egg retrieval yesterday. 3 eggs were retrieved, but only one was mature. I got a call today from the embryologist that this one is half-way fertilized. There are not sure how it goes. It shows signs of fertilization, but is not fully in the process yet. I have never heard of such thing. This is my first <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> after trying for 44 months (3 mc's). I will learn tomorrow if this one made it to fertilize. Has anyone else out here experienced this or heard about it? I am 39. I feel devastated and hubby is just telling me that I am old and should just give up.
