How did your labor start??

Question

I'm curious to how others labor had started?? I'm only 37 weeks, but the past 5-6 days I've had loose stools and upset stomachs. My midwife won't check me, but told me yesterday baby's head is very low. I'm starting to get crampy pains right above my pubic bone that stretch to the vagina to the rectum 😁😁 ftm though so I have no idea if they mean anything.

I lost my mucous plug for a week or so before I went into labor. Then I woke up one morning, my son kicked me and I heard and felt a huge pop. Got up and my water gushed everywhere. Contractions started about 30-40 minutes later. Then my body started clearing out, and I had some bright red blood. That's when I decided to head in as contractions were very intense. Labor was 4.5 hours.

Mine started out as very mild period-like cramps that got stronger and stronger and closer together and lasted longer and longer. Then I had a bloody show after about 6 hours of cramps. About 5 hours after the show, I had to go to the hospital because I was in so much pain.

Mine started in the middle of the nght, i woke up exactly at 3 not knowing why layed there for 7 minutes had a contraction, had to more exactly 7 minutes apart. Woke my husband up told him to go wake up his mom its time to go. By that time they were 3 minutes apart. Labor took 7 hours for me. My doctor said if you cant walk talk or laugh threw them its real.
