Cramps after ovulating?!

So it hasnt been a good month to conceive. My husband is military and went into the field for a week the morning my ovulation started. We did however had some "adult time" the night before he left. Well its a week later and the day after my week of ovulating and im experiencing cramps and some tenderness right in the middle of my lower belly. I dont remeber this feeling with my first pregnancy even though I'm being told its an early sign of pregnancy. Thought i would ask you ladies on your opinion.
