Breastfeeding mamas, how long for your period to return?

Hi for those who have breastfed with previous babies, how long did it take for your period to return so you could try to conceive again? I have read it can take up to 
12 months if you breastfeed versus sooner after birth doing formula...we are hoping to conceive a year year half after this one is born (God willing of course) so just curious on your fertility returning while exclusively breastfeeding. Thanks so much

Unfortunately mine came back the month after my pp bleeding. I did not supplement and did everything "right". Everyone is different.

A colleague of mine got pregnant while breastfeeding before her period even returned. Her children are both born in September about a week apart 2014 and 2015. 
I know you're extremely fertile even if you don't get a period.

My sister in law got pregnant back to back to back without ever even getting her period back between pregnancies.

I had my son March 2015 and exclusively breastfed and was on the mini pill!! We still managed to get pregnant! Huge suprise but we are super happy! I never started my period after I had my son! I'm due September 12 and the boys will be 18 months apart :)

I got mine back at 3 months with both my exclusively breastfed kids. I was not so lucky

I didn't get mine back until after weaning. We cut down to 2-3 times every 24 hrs at 11 months and fully weaned at 13 months. I got my period exactly 2 weeks after the last time he nursed.

Mine didn't come until after I stopped breastfeeding, but I only breastfed like 3 months. A friend of mine got pregnant while breast, no period
