Now don't get me wrong, I completely understand that age gaps are a tricky subject especially when it's around a young age. So initially a 17 y/o with a 22 year old boyfriend may seem questionable, and trust me it's not something that has gone unnoticed in our relationship. However it feels so different with me and my boyfriend. I'm significantly more mature than other girls my age and physically look like I'm in my twenties, I have a job and everything so I personally feel a lot older than I am. My boyfriend acts way less mature than me because that's just his childish but charming humour, and we honestly make such a great couple. I couldn't be happier so when someone makes a judgement based solely on the numbers it kind of puts a huge downer on things. People don't understand that not everything is just black and white on paper; every situation is unique and you shouldn't judge it if you don't understand it. It's just funny how when we meet new people and they ask how long we've been together etc they have absolutely NO clue that I'm 5 years younger than him and they just presume we're both 20 odd. If there are no issues with it before you know the age then why is there all of a sudden a problem when you find out?
Long story short I just want to know your opinions 😄😘
