thirsty when nursing??

Does anyone else get extremely thirsty when your LO latches on and starts nursing?? I have to have a huge glass of water with me every time bc I get such a sudden intense thirst. It happens also when  I pump, but not as intense.

Lol Yes! My husband is getting (sarcastically) annoyed at me because I always start nursing and then ask him to get me a drink because I'm suddenly so thirsty!

I'm the same way! I think it's supposed to happen - your body's way of reminding you to keep hydrated. I also get super sleepy when my milk lets down even if I felt 100% awake before that.
