Anterior placenta and c-section

I haven't had a chance to discuss this with my doctor yet but does anyone know if there will more of a chance of complications during the surgery because of an anterior placenta? Will they just cut right through it? The last ultrasound I had was at 18 weeks, it was noted that I have an anterior placenta but didn't say if it was high or low. I know thesea things can move. Do you think they will do another ultrasound to confirm before the surgery? Anyone experienced this?
