If they're no longer active or I have too many messages. Other than that I'm pretty good at keeping them forever. I had my fiancés thread on here starting from over a year ago. Recently had to delete them because I literally had no more space left :D I pretty much only talk to 2 people outside of family.

I like deleting all my messages just because I hate my phone having so much stuff. Even online I deleted everything idk why I'm ocd with my phone lol

I delete my messages because I need storage... Never deleted messages so my SO couldn't see them. We don't snoop anyways.

I don't keep texts on my phone, has nothing to do with hiding.  Only keep those from people I speak with regularly
